What is the Hall of Fame?
Each May, the Greeley/Weld Senior Foundation (GWSF) proudly hosts its annual Hall of Fame event, a special celebration recognizing the remarkable contributions of older adult volunteers and senior-focused organizations throughout Weld County.
Established in 1993, the Hall of Fame honors individuals or couples aged 60 and older who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to volunteer service in their communities. These honorees are nominated by friends, family members, neighbors, or local organizations who wish to acknowledge their inspiring efforts.
In addition to recognizing outstanding volunteers, the event also includes the presentation of monetary grants to senior/older adult centers that provide vital services and support to older adults in Weld County.
The Hall of Fame is more than just an awards ceremony—it is a heartfelt tribute to the spirit of service, leadership, and compassion that defines our senior community. Through this annual event, the GWSF celebrates those who continue to make a lasting impact, proving that the desire to serve knows no age limit.
Over the years, the Hall of Fame has celebrated the incredible stories of local older adults who have made a lasting difference through their volunteer service. Each honoree embodies the values of leadership, compassion, and commitment to community—qualities that continue to inspire people of all ages.
THANK YOU!
